30 Jan sunday after (late) breakfast blog

grads on my sisters blog, nice, full of puns and humour. Well, it took a couple of days, and nooooooo Beth, I didn’t slack, I just didn’t have any time. Unfortunately it doesn’t work correctly when I e-mail a blog, it prints the title, but not the message, for example my last e-mail had the message “no time”, that’s life. it seems the whole family (except me of course) has been bitten by “e-bayitis” the kids are selling their toys, Sonni said, when they see that they can make money, they will probably clean up (clean-out) their rooms. Somehow it is fun, even though we haven’t been able to buy anything, because others are quicker/better at bidding, but im sure we will learn, and soon be able to buy stuff to replace the junk we are selling. (s. George Carlin – A place for my stuff) A lot going on at work, on Friday I took the day off, we had to look for stuff (haha) for Brian’s birthday. Wow they grow quickly, another 3 (!) years, and we can see how we can get him out of the house, either to the Bundeswehr or to a college out of town. (just kidding, he can stay as long as I want!!) I cant wait ´till it gets warm, Sonni and I still have an offer from my boss to cash in on, we (HAFI) helped design, and we made the door handles for one of Germany’s largest and most exclusive hotels, the Grand Hotel Heiligendamm, on the Baltic sea. And as thanks for a good project management, he said I could saty a night, with dinner, breakfast, and a ride to and from the hotel. Now we just have to find time, a long weekend, we will take a couple of days, and spend one or two days up in Hamburg, either on the way to, or from the grand hotel. http://www.kempinski-heiligendamm.de/ I think ill take the day off from fitness and learn Chinese, we only have one more lesson, on Monday I have to sign up for the next class, in some respects it isn’t as hard as people think, no harder than any other language, what makes it hard, are the Chinese characters, and the tone that the words should be spoken. And I need to find a way to actually speak it. A language lives, and without exercise it wilts, and dies. I also want to take a minute and write to Fred, in case he reads this, I sure wish yáll could come to visit, we are only a 1000 km away from each other, and I am sure it would really interest you how it looks here now. Sure I would more than love to come and see you, I really enjoyed in the Normandy, and maybe if my mom comes, we could meet in Paris, that would be way cool but otherwise, it would be time that you visit, before the tourist season starts. well here i am, wow, not a whole lot has changed since yesterday evening. but thats life, alot of empty space between notible happenings. alot of work though, so that helps the day go quickly, sometimes too quick, then i have more work than hours, and it is a delicate balance between overtime and my wifes aggrevation. actually you could say, the time i am using to blog in my lunch time, could be well spent on work, and you could possibly be right, but then again, everyone needs a bit of something to ease the brain now and then, for some it is a cigarette, others a break, or a cup of coffee. to each his own. so now i am going to eat something, then itll be work time again, and maybe ill write again later after work, or then tomorrow at lunch. greetings and beatings (kiddding) Yo.

wow, busy day, didnt even have time to make a lunch blog. but my son also joined the bloggers under: www.darthmop1andmyexperience.blogspot.com well now im at home, at writing on word, so that i can copy/paste it (at home i have a 56k modem and i pay, and at work DSL, and the boss pays) yeah im a bit unverschämt, but my boss (bosses) are really cool, and seeing as they also do a bit of private surfing, then they also have nothing against the workers surfing in their free time (lunch, or after work) as long as nothing illegal or immoral is happening. so any ways, not much going on in germany at the moment. just bad politics, beurocracy, and the usual crap in the news. no use in complaining, but sometimes it makes one feel better. right now it is relatively cold, -3°c, nothing compared to the states, but then im not in the states am i? but what sucks, is my poor old car battery is going kaput, i wanted to try and make it through the winter without getting a new one, but after charging it a ful day, it is still weak, so I may not get around it [ suck - ;-)] im toying with the idea of writing another blog, with a bit of a story, don’t know what yet, as i don’t live in the states, i don’t know if anything happening over here would be of interest. Maybe a story about some rip, cut sci-fi pirate shit, or my memoirs, or sumthin. if i start, then ill let yall know [as much as whoever reads this :-)] well ´nuff said again, ´m gonna go drink a glass o´red wine (HaHaHaaaAAA) (??? yo, well back from munich, thank god i was only there for two days, boooorrrrring, actually there were a couple of good moments, but it was slow. in cologne during the international shows, there are so many people at the stand, that at times, i finished one customer, and did not even have time to finish a report, and was already on the next, wow you have to be careful not to attach the wrong business card to the report. i think the two days in munich i talked to a total of 8 people. where as 5-6 were really interesting. no use in complaining. i have enough work as it is, and if two or three come out as good contacts who actually buy something, then it may turn out all worthwhile. well 'nuff said already, got to work some now, maybe more tomorrow. just a shame, it seems i need more "umpf!" i need to get out of bed in the mornings, and do some fitness. maybe this evening, we will see. tomorrow morning in any case. gota go, gota go, back to work, work, work!

wow, must say, so far i have been recieving good response from my friends who have checked out this blog.... THANKS FRIENDS (and family) I probably wont get to blog the next couple of days. this evening i finaly go to munich to the trade show, we will then be three people on our stand tomorrow and saturday. sunday i probably will not go online; owe it to the family. maybe i will play some GTA san andreas with brian, naturaly i know i shouldnt let my son play such a violent, disturbing, dark and non-learning game, that one might think only teaches death, mayhem, chaos, crime, bla, bla, bla. BUT ITS HELLA FUN!!! (boahhahahahahhhaa[dark, throaty, evil laughter]) i think so far he has shown enough character, to make us believe that he is still sane, actualy we are more worried about his love for star wars.... what do you call such people they are not trekkies; starrys? warrys? forceys? just plain freaks? i mean he seems well adjusted, maybe short for his age, but i really cant blame VGs for that can i. maybe in the states i could, then i could sue sony - playstation. but in germany they would just say "selber schuld!" weeellllll; back to work, finish up as much of my desk as possible for tomorrow. and i will try to write next week in my lunch time again. yo! stay cool, and dont get stiffed! -(

still 18 Jan lunch blog

it is still lunch time, and i have a couple of minutes. i had a really tasty ciabatta bread layed with smoked ham and smoked cheese and dried tomatoes and grilled eggplant. mmmmmhhhhh how is it the brain simmers with witty and sparkling things to say, until one sit in front of the computer/empty page? it is really interesting to see what things other people post, it is quite a voyeuristic way to look at the world, naturually without the centerfold. but it is good to read that most of the people have real lives, and do not seem to fit the typical "compu-geek" frame-set, people describing going places, meeting people, and doing things. of which, for a couple of weeks, we (the family) went to the museum of egyptian arts in munich, mainly for my daughter who is "really" interested is such matters. the museum was small, and for its size, expensive, but as they had a special show for the "totenbücher" (death rolls?) it was really quite interesting. now i dont know if you will be in the city of munich, germany any time soon, bt if you are, it is a trip worth. we parked in the public parking garage of the "kepinski - vier jahreszeiten" (kepenski - four season hotel) and we saw mooshammers rolls royce, naturally my wife was a bit sad after we heard about his death in the news. now they are dredging up sordid details about his sex life. and i must say, whilst i dont condone homosexuality, who cares what he did in his spare time! it is really no ones business, and it was an open secret for years, why does everyone act so shocked now? hypocrites! well back to work laaaater ;-)

well it is midday of th 18th of January, and while not much is going on, i have alot of work, where does the time go? maybe tomorrow i'll go to the trade show in munich, yesterday it was apparently a very slow day, but traditionaly it picks up around wednesday / thursday. i guess well see. i think later when time alows, i'll send everyone a linkto this blog, it would be a great way to keep up to date, and maybe someone else is interested in blogging ;-) well gonna go get something to eat, yum, yum, yum, see yaaa

well it is monday, everyone else except bookkeeping is at the "bau" tradeshow in munich for a week, i'll go on wednsday when things pick up. ive been scanning different blogs during my lunch break "THREE CHEERS FOR THE NEXT BLOG BUTTON" life can be so interesting, shame that so many people seem to feel so useless, but there seems to be enough life lovers out there too. we seem to be in a 50/50 world well back to work, ... work,work,work, aaaaaand off we go ;-)

this is my first blog, i really dont even know why i am doing this, as 1. i dont have much time (but probably more than i think) 2. i dont even really know what it is good for(maybe ill find out) 3. i dont know if what i blog is interesting (so no one will probably ever read it any way) i guess it is a good way to talk to my self, and find out some things about me, without looking disturbed. and maybe if some one reads this, i may find interesting people to talk with (actualy i know alot of interesting people, but some how im not very good at "networking" maybe this will help). may anyone who finds this give their two cents, even if i only grow two cents at a time, with enough time, ill have something to show in the end. this is it for now, ill probably check back in a couple of days. ciao
