WoW - Christmas time again...

.. and where has the year gone? just a couple of weeks ago I was in China again, and now almost four weeks have passed, and I am still fighting on all fronts on my desk. The waY it looks I wont be taking any vacation this year, maybe a couple of days here and there, or rather 1/2 days, I want to use the time when we are officially closed to get my desk, and my office cleaned up.

Right now there is snow is still on the ground, and although I really despise snow, I have to admit, as long as it is fresh, and I am sitting inside looking out of my window, then it can be deemed "pretty" - otherwise, global warming doesnt seem like a bad idea (yeah send my selfish, non-eco - self to hell)

The problem is, that it wont stay very lomg, it is already melting a bit in the sun, and if no new snow comes, or if it actually starts raining (or sleeting) then it looks like we will have a grey Christmas (sounds like a good song from "the Mode" - "I'm dreaming of a grey Christmas/ where my love has killed my heart/ and sorrow abounds/....")

Oh well going off the edge there. no matter.

well gotta go and eat something.

YO!

Sorry about the delay, can't blog at work! Here is my reference, please quote them, not me (I'm sorry I forgot to reference them myself)! Enjoy and thanks for reading http://tedblog.typepad.com/tedblog/2005/11/perils_of_urls.html AAAANNNNDDD..... HERE THEY ARE!!!!!

Perils of URLs

An email this morning from TEDster Julian Treasure gave me huge pleasure.

Unbelievably, these are all real sites. ------------ A few salutary examples that should make us all think twice...

Firstly there is Who Represents?, a database for agencies to the rich and famous:

http://www.whorepresents.com

Second is the Experts Exchange, a knowledge base where programmers can exchange advice and views: http://www.expertsexchange.com

Looking for a pen? Look no further than Pen Island: http://www.penisland.net

Need a therapist? Try: http://www.therapistfinder.com And there is an Italian Power company: http://www.powergenitalia.com

Finally we have the Mole Station Native Nursery, based in New South Wales:

too many to count

long time....

....no write. so i´ll take a couple of minutes to write now. yesterday i was blurfing and came across http://cougars3.blogspot.com/, read the posting from Nov. 8 - Daylight savings trap, the funny URLs - man those are really funny. I posted a remark asking if I may copy them, but so far no answer.

well the days are getting shorter, and now it seems i go to work when its dark and come home when its darker, the only daylight i see is out of my office window. and then it nerves when it shines in and i cant see my screen. so far christmas season is progressing nicley, and so far there has been hardly any snow. as far as i am concerned it can stay that way the next 4 months, brrrr who needs it.

it seems i dont have much interesting words to put in here, so i´ll let be, and maybe i´ll write more tomorrow or the next day, or the next.

YO!
