Senator: Teach evolution alternative -- Florida could soon find itself at the center of a century-old fight over the teaching of evolution in public school classrooms. State Sen. Stephen Wise, R-Jacksonville, is leading a charge that calls for a "thorough presentation and critical analysis of the scientific theory of evolution." Critics say that Wise's legislation could open the door for teachers and students to challenge evolution, which they say is settled science.

Yes, here are some more things which should be challenged in settled science;

-          Bothersome notion of Earth circling sun

-          Preposterous suggestion that the Earth is not flat

-          Reading and writing are necessary to be an informed citizen

-          Sex education, "Birds and Bees" never hurt anyone, people with STDs and teen pregnancies are at their own fault

-          Magnets, Science or magic?

-          Stars, hot gasses in the wide expanses of space, or our ancestors watching over us.

First post from my little bit of handheld Evil - iPhone

This is this the first post from my new-used iPhone. A friend of mine had sent me an Android, which I'm not going to make bad, but after using an iPod Touch, the Android seemed just a tad bit, well inferior. I had to restart it rather often, and it only had a small internal memory, meaning; if I downloaded a new app, then often enough there wasn't enough memory, and I had to decide which other app I wanted to delete. Upon my confession to my friend that I actually liked the iPhone better, he meant "he felt better using a device that didn't have him hanging onto Steve Jobs coattails". To which I replied, "is it better to have the original "mother of all evil mega Internet companies Google" knowing everything that you are doing?". It's not that I don't have anything against Android, but the technical, programming, business use, etc. Of the iPhone suits my tastes more.
