long time no blog

.... yeah it has been quite awhile, i checked up my my blogs, and that of my sister, and then i blurfed a bit. strange, this time i kept comimng back to blogs i had just viewed minutes before...... ponder...... life goes on. my kids got me the book "Eragon" for fathers day, it was pretty good, I didnt realise it was a trilogy, until i was at the last twenty or thirty pages, and said... "hey, so far no climax, in fact far from it" the my wife told me, that my daughter knew that already ( she is reading it as well, but naturally in german) now i have two series that i have started, and will probably have to order the next books thro amazon. the book stores in ulm are poorly stocked with english lituatur, mostly just the newest best-sellers and "big names". well it is starting to turn warm (now and then) spring/summer is comming (about time) the concerts are starting up, we dont get alot of the "big" bands over here since 9/11, but some thing are really good, the next month and a half we will be pretty busy, here is our itenerary, if you dont know these guys, dont feel bad....

farin urlaub (singer from die ärzte)

willy deville (singer from mink deville)

maidaiko aska-gumi (trad. jap. drummers)

.. and we will see who else pops up this season, that isnt a bad start. i already (legaly) downloaded the first single from the foo fighters new album, sounds good, cant wait till i can (legally) buy it. what else? yeah, i went to an english speaking"stammtisch" a stammtisch is a regularly reacuring meeting, usualy in the same bar/cafe, usualy at the same table, but in this case they change resturants/bar/cafe every so often, so that the people can try new places. it was cool, i posted it on http://americans-in-ulm.blogspot.com/ before hand, and when i am thru here i will write a small piece for that as well. i wanted to spread the word about it a bit, but so far, dawn, who organises it, hasnt written so i dont her e-mail, as soon as i do, i hope to get more traffic. well maybe i can post more tomorrow.Yo!

Seems like every book I have is part of a series... some intentional, and some by accident. I buy a book I think I might like, read it, and find out it's part of a series, so therefore I have to get the rest of them... lol

I saw Eragon at the store, started to get it, but saw something else that I'd been waiting for, and got that one instead. Is it a good story? What's it about?
